Ionic Labs is the workshop behind the consulting. A place to build things AI-first, think out loud, and ship small tools — separate from the day-to-day fares, ticketing and retail work. Some of it is useful. Some of it is just play. All of it is experimental.

By day I work on fares, ticketing and retail for UK public transport — strategy through to delivered systems. Ionic Labs is the other half of how I work: building AI-first, testing ideas quickly, and keeping a workshop where experiments don't have to be finished to be worth showing.
It's deliberately kept apart from the consulting site. The work here is exploratory — prototypes, half-formed thoughts, small tools. If something graduates into real client work, it moves across. Everything else stays in the lab where it belongs.
